Dropbox Sign supports eID (electronic identification) through the Web (hellosign.com) and Sign API. We connect with trusted Qualified Trusted Service Providers (QTSP) to provide both Advanced and Qualified Electronic Signatures, compliant with the eIDAS regulation.
eID helps identify the signer of a document sent via Dropbox Sign. Additionally, eID strengthens legal validity and compliance and helps meet or exceed regional legal and regulatory requirements for validity and enforceability.
Note: if you already have qualified electronic signatures (QES) enabled, your electronic signature workflow will remain the same. Find out more about qualified electronic signatures.
