Dropbox Sign system requirements

The following minimum specifications are recommended for Dropbox Sign for optimal experience and performance.

Browsers

You can use Dropbox Sign with most modern browsers. However, it works best on the following:

• Google Chrome, latest version
• Mozilla Firefox, latest version
• Microsoft Edge, latest version

Notes: 

• Dropbox Sign will no longer support Safari 11 or below after 19 April 2023.
• Dropbox Sign will no longer work in Internet Explorer 11 after 18 February 2023.

Mobile devices

The Dropbox Sign mobile app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android. Learn how to use the Dropbox Sign mobile app.

File types

Dropbox Sign supports a wide range of file types:

• .doc
• .docx
• .pdf
• .ppsx
• .ppt
• .pptx
• .jpg
• .jpeg
• .png
• .xls
• .xlsx
• .txt
• .html
• .gif

If you’d like to use a file type that we don’t support, save the file as a .pdf before uploading.

Notes:

• A single file can't exceed 40MB.
• A single request can't exceed 500 pages and/or 40 files.
