You can port your existing fax number to
Fax if you live in the US or Canada. To port your fax number, submit a request with your current fax number and carrier by clicking Submit a request in the top right of this page. You’ll get a response from us, typically within 1–2 business days, to let you know whether or not we can port your number.Note: If you live outside the US or Canada, we will not be able to port your number, and you will not receive a response from us.
If we’re able to port your number, we'll ask you to send a completed Letter of Authorization (LOA) form and the most recent invoice from your current provider to verify that you own the number. Learn how to fill out the LOA form.
Once you send these two documents, we’ll start the port request. To ensure a smooth porting process and prevent service interruptions, keep your account with your current carrier active until the porting process is complete.
After the porting process is complete, we'll add the ported number to your
Fax account, and you’ll be charged a one-time $60 porting fee for each line that is ported over.Note: On the day your ported number is activated with
Fax, anyone sending you a fax will have to dial “1” at the beginning of the number or the fax will not go through.
