You can fax anywhere within the US, Canada, and the UK without being charged a long distance rate. Because our system is entirely online, we don't calculate fax costs in minutes or dollars and cents. Instead, we calculate long distance faxes by pages used.
A one page fax sent from San Francisco to New York will deduct one page from your Fax page count, just as it would if you were sending it to Los Angeles, or for that matter, Montreal or London.
International faxing destinations outside of the US and Canada require additional pages. A one page document sent to Turkey will deduct two pages from your tally, whereas a one page fax sent to South Africa it would deduct five pages. You can check out the full details on our International Pricing Page.
You can always find your page count by finding and hovering over your email address on the top right corner of the
Fax window:Faxing internationally in our systems also differs from dialing on a handset.
You would typically dial 011 at the beginning of an international number, but you can leave that out and enter a + instead.
For example:
To call Europe, you would normally dial 011441235678750.
To fax Europe, you'll enter +441235678750.
