Dropbox Sign Template records exist in one of three states: Pending, Active, or Archived. Batch scheduling ensures that the correct status is reflected in your templates stored at hellosign.com by syncing Salesforce changes with hellosign.com at a predetermined frequency. This results in Salesforce users being presented with only those templates which are Active and available for use. (Note: Please be sure to make all edits to Salesforce templates in Salesforce, not at hellosign.com.)
- Pending Templates are templates in the process of being created natively within Salesforce. An example would be if an admin was in the process of making an NDA template.
- Active Templates are templates that have been created and are ready to send from with your Salesforce org. This is the state of an NDA template that has gone through the pending step.
- Archived Templates are templates that an admin has chosen to no longer to send for signature. An example of an archived template could be if an NDA template from a previous year were replaced with a template from the current year.
The schedule is set from Dropbox Sign Settings, on the Trigger Settings tab. Frequency can be set to Hourly or Daily, or a manual sync can be run by clicking "Run Now."
