The Dropbox Fax Dropbox Extension

The Dropbox Fax Dropbox Extension allows you to select files from within your Dropbox account and jump into the requesting experience with a simple click. Currently the supported file types are .PDF, .DOC, .DOCX. The Dropbox Fax Dropbox Extension will automatically be added as an option for those supported files. 

 Below is the step by step instructions for Dropbox Fax:

1. From within your Dropbox account, open the document you'd like to send via Dropbox Fax, click on the dropdown next to 'Share' and select Dropbox Fax.
   
   
2. You'll be prompted to sign in to your Dropbox Fax account or create a new account if you don't have one. 
   
   
3. Now select what you'd like to do, Send a fax or request a signature, which will switch you to Dropbox Sign. (New to Dropbox Fax? Check out our article 'How do I Fax a Document?)
   
   
4. Once the document has been sent out you'll be given the option to view the document within your Dropbox Fax account by clicking on 'Status' or you can jump back into your Dropbox account by clicking on 'View File on Dropbox'. Your documents will not be updated within your Dropbox account until the fax has been successfully sent.
