To set up the Dropbox Sign for SharePoint integration, first a Global admin or SharePoint admin has to authorize the Dropbox Sign for SharePoint integration. Then, site admins have to connect Dropbox Sign to their SharePoint sites.
Authorize the Dropbox Sign for SharePoint integration
To authorize the Dropbox Sign for SharePoint integration:
- Sign in to SharePoint with your Global admin or SharePoint admin credentials.
- Note: The email address you use for SharePoint must be the same as the email address you use for Dropbox Sign in order to authorize the integration.
- Click Site contents in the left sidebar.
- Click New above the site list and select App from the dropdown menu.
- Click Apps You Can Add under Your Apps in the left sidebar.
- Click Dropbox Sign for SharePoint Online.
- Note: If you don't see Dropbox Sign for SharePoint Online, use the search bar to find it.
- Click Dropbox Sign above the documents list.
- Click Accept. You’ll be redirected to the Connections screen.
- Click Connect Site.
- Click Connect Site to connect a SharePoint site.
- In the popup window, enter the email address and password associated with the site you’d like to connect.
- Click Login.
- In the Allow Access popup window, click Accept.
Connect Dropbox Sign to SharePoint sites
To connect Dropbox Sign to a SharePoint site:
- Sign in to SharePoint with your site admin credentials.
- Note: The email address you use for SharePoint must be the same as the email address you use for Dropbox Sign in order to connect a SharePoint site.
- Go to the SharePoint site you’d like to connect.
- Click Documents in the left sidebar.
- Click Dropbox Sign above the documents list.
- Click Admin settings.
- Click Connect site and follow the prompts.
Follow the same process for each SharePoint site you’d like to connect.
