The Dropbox Sign for HubSpot integration allows you to cancel and send reminders for pending signature requests in HubSpot that are in the Sent or Viewed state.
How to send a reminder
Reminders are automatically sent to anyone who hasn’t signed a pending signature request after 3 days and again after 7 days. You can manage automatic reminders from your Dropbox Sign account settings.
If you’d like to send an additional reminder for a pending signature request, you can send a reminder to anyone who hasn’t signed from the Dropbox Sign CRM card in HubSpot.
To send a reminder:
1. Navigate to a Contact, Company, or Deal record.
2. Locate the pending signature request in the Dropbox Sign CRM card in the right sidebar.
- Note: Only your 3 most recent signature requests for that record will appear in the Dropbox Sign CRM card. To view other signature requests, click View more documents to be taken to Dropbox Sign.
3. Click Actions on the signature request you’d like to send a reminder for.
4. Click Remind. You’ll see a list of people who still need to sign.
- Note: If you set a signer order for a signature request, you may not see all signers under Remaining signers. You can only send reminders in signer order. Once the current remaining signer completes their part, you’ll be able to send a reminder to the next remaining signer.
5. Click Send reminder.
6. Click Return to HubSpot.
An email reminder will be sent to anyone who hasn’t signed the document.
Note: You can only send one reminder per hour.
How to cancel a signature request
To cancel a signature request:
1. Navigate to a Contact, Company, or Deal record.
2. Locate the pending signature request in the Dropbox Sign CRM card in the right sidebar.
- Note: Only your 3 most recent signature requests for that record will appear in the Dropbox Sign CRM card. To view other signature requests, click View more documents to be taken to Dropbox Sign.
3. Click Actions on the signature request you’d like to cancel.
4. Click Cancel.
5. Click Cancel request.
6. Click Return to HubSpot.
All copies of the signature request will be deleted, and no one will be able to sign it. The canceled signature request will also be removed from the Dropbox Sign CRM card in the right sidebar.
Note: If you cancel a signature request at the same time as or immediately after it’s been signed, the status will change to Signed and you won’t be able to cancel it.
