Cancelling and Declining Signature Requests with Embedded Signing

    Hi Mike, 

    Thank you so much for reaching out. I will be more than happy to assist you with this.

    Question 1: The intended behavior to cancel the signature request from the iFrame would be to click the options menu in the top left corner and then cancel the request. Photo example below:

    Question 2: When you are using the HelloSign.Event_Declined event, you can take the information received from the eventData (the reason) and insert into your database. You can also retrieve the response for the reason the signature is being declined, with a similar logic that you are using for the modal that you were opening.

    Essentially, when you include HelloSign.Event_Declined the iFrame will trigger that the info box sent to the opening window. So, you will need to retrieve the response from the eventData versus having a second window populate for a duplicate response from the customer.

    Thanks for the reply LaToya.  However, I'm not experiencing what you describe.

    For instance, under the ellipsis there is only a "Decline" option even though in my example code you can see I specify "allowCancel: true".  The only option users have currently is to decline or approve.

    On question #2, the only property of eventData that I'm receiving on declines or successes is the .event which I capture.  I'll update this question with a JSON stringified version of the eventData payload from a decline in a few minutes when I run another test.  

    I would love if the eventData included the reason, because, like you said, I could capture and save that without providing another modal on our end.
